Iordanis (Jordan) Petsas joined the University of Scranton in the fall of 2002 after receiving his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Florida. He received his B.A. in Economics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, followed by an M.A. in Economics, from the University of Florida. Professor Petsas teaches International Economics and International Business. He has also taught at the University of Florida and Baruch College, City University of New York. His current research examines the effects of General Purpose Technologies on growth and trade. His research has been published, among others, in the Journal of Evolutionary Economics, Review of Development Economics, and International Journal of Business and Economics. Professor Petsas serves on the Editorial Board of Journal of Modern Economy. |
